The Caddy Mann Restaurants dinner menu changes on a monthly basis to utilise the finest and freshest of the local seasonal produce and to provide an ever changing menu with new and imagainative dishes for you to enjoy.   Booking is essential, as spaces for dinner  reservations are limited.      

  When you book your table  at The Caddy Mann, you are not booking a time slot, you are reserving your table for the evening .  There is no rush or time constraints. All we ask is that you enjoy your evening with us.

  Our freindly, relaxed and informal service ensures that your evening will not be rushed and that your visit to the Caddy Mann will be a perfect and memorable occasion.

Below is our current dinner menu.   In addition to the current seasonal menu, there is an aditional             "specials board" which is hand written every night and changes daily according to the produce available from local farms, estates and suppliers.

Crisp belly of free range local pork, cooked in Thistly Cross Dunbar cider, on an apple & sage fondant

 with black pudding bon-bon  and seared west coast scallops on a garden pea puree    £8.75

Homemade filo pastry roll filled with crispy shredded confit of duck,

spring onion and ginger, served on a sprouting bean salad with oriental hoi sin sauce £6.95

Vegetarian based mushroom and tarragon sausage on sweet potato mash with

 roasted red pepper reduction, organic vine tomatoes and fresh potato gnocchi    £6.50

Local Scotch Sirloin steak (10oz) £18.95   

Local Scotch Fillet steak Escallops (8oz)  £19.95

 Red wine gravy / Classic Diane sauce / Peppercorn sauce  £1.00 supplement.

 

Your steak  will be cooked to your liking and come served with homemade chips,

 roast cherry tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms and beer battered onion rings.

         Supreme of guinea fowl, stuffed with Borders Brie encased in a  wild mushroom mousse & wrapped in air dried Cumbrian ham, with pearl barley pilaf, lemon & chervil beurre blanc,

and topped with a black truffle & ricotta cheese tortellini  £15.95

For freshness and variety, the fish dishes of the evening

will change daily according to availability and market supply.

Roast fillet of wild local venison on a celeriac dauphinoise served with homemade

Borders roe deer meatballs in a rich rosemary and Madeira game jus   £16.95

Steamed vegetarian suet pudding, filled with casseroled seasonal organic
